How does /soc/ work? Could I really get a girlfriend as a carless NEET? My disposable income from NEETbux is a bit less than $1000. I am 25 years old, and I've never had a girlfriend. I'm so lonely. It feels like not much has changed since I was 17.

I have no idea how relationships actually work or how the /soc/ board works. Ideally, at least for the moment, I'd have an older girlfriend drive me around and we would just talk a lot and be sweet and maybe help each other out with a few things. She could be younger than me. I guess it doesn't matter.

Moving out to the house of a woman who already has some money would be a massive relief. I am actually mentally-ill with pretty bad OCD and insomnia that comes from it. Without essentially having someone else to financially depend on, I'm pretty screwed.

I've heard of relationships like this working out, but they seem magical.

I know the woman could theoretically be younger than me, and I have heard a few stories of relationships like this, where the woman is essentially the one providing financial security, despite the man being several years older.

What do I need to do? What do I need to be able to provide to make sure a relationship like this is possible? I won't be able to NEET off of my loving adoptive father forever, and I already feel too guilty.

Once I'm living with such a woman, I could do all the house work, laundry, clean, organize and interior design, mow the yard, do repair jobs, cook, and such, but I can't advertise these skills.

I feel like my biggest issue is a lack of a car, but this might just be some autistic thinking I acquired back when I was in high school.

The issue is what does chad mean to different women? Could I just be a 7/10, 5'11 muscular 25-year-old man? Women also have their own SMV, and some people are more empathetic than others.

I don't get it. Is SMV a real thing, or could I realistically get what I'm looking for if I just ask out enough women? Even while being carless? Could I just ask out of a bunch of women in their 30s and 40s, have them drive me out everywhere, and see if they get attached or fall in love with me.

smv is just a practical instrument, not anything inherent. it's not of any use to pity yourself. my best advice is to just look into some looksmaxxing if you haven't (the soft kind, dont get surgery). secondly, you should try to appear of higher status (even if you aren't). you don't need money or actual reputation, as long a woman's primitive brain perceives you as someone of importance, the leader of the tribe, so act unbothered, assertive, and not too clingy. this prolly needs some practice. if a woman likes you, you'll get through the logistical and money issues. i had a girl fly over to me across a continent when i was too broke to go there myself.

I recommend you go on Tinder/Hinge/Bumble and just be honest about who you are and what you're looking for. It probably wont work out but the chances are literally infinitely better than on /soc/.
The issue with /soc/ is that there are extremely few women, even for online dating standards, and the few women there are much, much more mentally ill than the average and they also tend to be very far from you geographically
