I spend all day either doomscrolling, watching shitty youtube videos, or browsing this board, vidya feels like an additional chore and I don't play for more than half an hour.
Anytime I go outside, everything stops feeling real and It overwhelms me if I'm sober, and I can't keep friends because I'm used to my schedule being uninterrupted by anything, and I ghost people over it, yes I hate myself for this.

I learned loneliness is a physical sensation and it sometimes hurts physically to completely lack touch. But fuck it, I hate people more than I hate touch starvation, so I'm gonna keep playing games.

I think about it about once a year because just how much fun I had with it. back when minecraft wasnt so shit and stressful. how many ended up staying on with it? we had at least 8 at the beginning but by the end there was only 2 of us regularly still logging on

I played minecraft with my ex, I don't think I'll ever touch this game again it's too painful. We spent many evenings building villages and going on adventures while sitting next to each other. It was comfy. I will never have that again.

probably still 5-8 or so regulars when i got tired of it? the thing that sticks in my mind was the longevity, the peak of 10-15 online every day felt like a good half a year when most servers are ghost towns after 2 weeks, and i felt included for once instead of just being a background character like usual, people would pal around with me even though i'm an autistic mute 90% of the time, lots of cool map art when that was more of a novel thing, i don't mind most mc updates and the state of the game itself now is still acceptable to me, i just can't find a server that recaptures the feeling, i'm probably too old now
