I split my time between a democracy and a "democracy". There's most obvious difference is wealth discrepancy. In the "democracy" country, it's still a functioning society and all, but the difference between rich and poor is staggering. In my actual democracy, most people are on more equal footing, and you rarely see gigawealth like I do in the "democracy".
