Framing and angles are so much more important to a "cinematic" feel anyway. Look at this timestamp on this (heavily cut up) clip of Goku vs King Piccolo. They look like they are travelling very fast even though the camera isn't zapping everywhere, and that's because of framing, angles, foreshortening, proper perspective etc:
