People try every so often, but unfortunately /co/'s in a bit of a rut lately (ie. for the last 10 years). Oddly, I think the demographics are way more silo'd off than /a/, if you can imagine that. There's very few anons genuinely interested in a bunch of different genres, so people are not often willing to engage in the kind of strange, bait/shitpost/participatory nature of OPT.
