The aunt is never expanded upon by Kubo but I'm guessing she's the one that helped Sora after he ran away. Interesting that she kept helping Orihime, albeit in a cold and distant way, after Sora's death, probably out of moral obligation since she clearly has no love for Orihime. I headcanon that she's the sister of the prostitute mother and suspected Orihime might also become a whore like her mother, especially after Sora's gone, so that's why she demanded good grades from Orihime in exchange for financial help. She also cut her off after high school and Orihime was forced to give up on college and work fulltime, I'm guessing she wasn't invited to Ichigo and Orihime's wedding lol
