theres real life stuff going on is why. So for about the past 2 years with an increased number of shows coming out that are popular the amount of fan art and cosplay has shifted to only the most popular shows. Only the top 2 or 3 shows get 90% of the fan art and cosplayers because the competition has gotten so harsh among the shows itself it has bleed over into fan art itself. No artist is going to make fan art of a show that most people have not watched its a waste of time and money for them. if you look at all the fanart of shows the past few seasons you'll see what I mean.
