Brainlet here but why did Shisui/Loulan have to "die" to begin with? It seemed like Shishou already did a perfectly good job with the "put on a performance and take on the blame for the whole scheme" plan, and while I get that she's officially considered a traitor who must be executed it seems like it'd be relatively easy for Jinshi to cover for her, is it just that he wouldn't trust her enough to want to do so at that point?
Through the entire dance scene last ep I could only wonder if I'm missing something obvious and that's even more true now that she turned out to survive.
