One’s art feels integral to the one punch man experience at this point. Even if the manga was a straight no change adaption just having everyone be super hot and sexy almost feels like another way of missing the original appeal. Not to say the aren’t was bad early on, but ever since the climax of the monster association the sketchy lines and more down to earth proportions and designs fit the world and tone of the series more. Like the silly and tropey yet serious world works in direct contrast with one’s unique grungy style.
