Have people ever considered that less popular series improve their ToC by mangaka taking additional work? Like how Shinobigoto got One Piece slot but Santa worked his ass off by doing weeks of 23 pages. Or how Kiyoshi's mangaka kept doing last color pages every 3 weeks sometimes combined with 23 pages.
At this point they don't even pretend that nobody wants to do color pages.
