Kaito himself isn't all that annoying or relevant to the season. It's just that he tends to be shitpostbait because of the fans overhyping a glorified FujiPi clone purely based on the existence of merch and advertising and the fame of his VA, and nothing within the actual show.
I would love for him to suddenly be great for the last third of the season or so, but I doubt it's happening.
