Gohan has never shown any real capacity of fighting skill above his opponents sadly.

The only time we've seen gohan go toe to toe with a dead even opponent was Chadbura

And gohan was strugglimg in a fight he should've won.

Gohan deserves to be lower then vegeta just off of that.
