Nobody else said that they aren't incestuous, just that it won't be shown anymore and I can see it go either way
Maybe they did decide to keep it fairly vague or maybe there will be something explicit in the remaining episodes but so far all their interactions in season 2 can be seen as just overly close rather than actually fucking one another
