GuP is good the whole way through, but I really just didn't care for it until I started to like all the characters. Plenty of small details and comfy moments I just wasn't really picking up on while wondering where the tanks were. Kotobuki is just a shit intro that doesn't introduce the characters at all that is sort of fixed by finishing up the show and learning who they are. Whole show sort of feels like there's not enough time for what they wanted to tell the audience.
