You're missing the point.
Not only overwhelming majority of stories are placed in Japan (or made up countries modeled over Japanese culture and social norms) where forced translation of honorifics or completely removing them never works because characterization is based on them very often, but even if Japanese creators are using other countries, it's still a country with Japanese view and perspective of this country and people in this country.
And if they really want to make something accurate, they are actually not using Japanese honorifics in the first place.
