nta but it's strange that they are inconsistent on this because humanity seemed perfectly able to reverse engineer and utilize zoltraak. obviously it's a much simpler spell, but doesn't that indicate that demons and humans aren't operating THAT differently? the demons are psychotic and violent by nature, but outside of that are not really that different from humanity... if they were completely alien, we wouldn't even understand why they do what they do.
