I think that's fine, honestly. The truth is that anime being a visual medium should focus on giving life to what we've imagined from many remarkable scenes we end up reading from the books. My only issue is that the anime should adapt key information and scenes so that the following events are all properly set up and foreshadowed, and it often fails to do for whatever reason. Why has battle aura not been mentioned even once? There's literally no excuse for this, it should've been mentioned multiple times already. Why not at least show the merchant and caravan from the desert travel? It's important for later on.
