The aliens were by far the most disappointing in this regard. They were very powerful and had very unconventional designs while speaking an undecipherable language... until they switched to regular speech and were just goofy arrogant cartoon villains. Makes them incredibly unintelligent sounding.
There was a chance to have an incomprehensible and terrifying alien race but it turns out they were just the same as everything else.
