CR's Tofu-Sensei ran some sub group that subbed older unsubbed shows...but they were REALLY slow/low output. And CR definitely picked up some people from Commie (who now get paid to put out trollsubs/shitsubs to this day) and some other smaller groups. I remember Dattebayo tried to get shounentards to demand CR hire DB staff on to continue subbing Naruto+Bleach, but DB got laughed at by CR. they might've gotten hired on later after being buckbroken dattebayo.
