We had a very good and respectful thread once about this subject, because honestly, why wouldn't we? We're better than just crude jokes. As a subject they are incredibly interesting, so we can have a conversation of substance. Little girls in manga and anime have been cliché and have been unique. They have been mundane and they have been prodigious. They have been archetypes and have been impossible to put into boxes. Let's discuss them as generalities and as individual characters.
