I just came back from reze movie and it made me fall in love with this girl despite not feeling much for her when reading manga. I can't think of any serious criticism for this one. It has everything you want from a good movie. I would love to hear what excuses haters can come up with to call justify calling it shit
Hearth break of a story, hype action, music that elevats the experiance, orgasmic sound design (especially any sound made before, during and after explosions) and the most mind blowing is the fact that it is pretty much one big 1.5hr long sakuga.
Lastly - cinematography . God fucking damn. I loved s01 for its approach to the visual story telling but I gotta say, reze movie knocks it out of the park. It keeps its block buster feel from s01 but still managed to incorporate things that made manga great - apperantly you can have cake and eat it too. On top of that colors they used to set the mood for some of the scenes is pure kino - scene with red sky for example. And those crafty camera angles.. fuck. I feared csm would lose its serious side with new director which thankfully is no the case
Sure, it is not the most original approach to romance but sometimes all you need is good execution
