>Shimizu: Among the PriPara characters, some had new motifs created for them, and I was genuinely surprised that they went to such lengths to make them. Conversely, seeing our own Aikatsu! characters perform the cyalume change left me thinking "amazing they've recreated it so beautifully" which I was truly moved by. I'm so glad you got to see after their cyalume change.
>Kimura, what were your thoughts upon seeing the stage scenes again?
>Kimura: "Impressive, as expected." Otobe's Tatsunoko Pro CG team has such an excellent reputation in the industry that I wasn't the slightest bit worried from the start. The hand drawn animation parts were produced by our company so I was nervous about those (laughs), but as for the CG we'd left that entirely in their hands, so I was just looking forward to seeing what they came up with. Well, it's a case of "whatever comes out from Tatsunoko Productions will sure to be great". The director gave us directions like "I'd like you to do this" but we were just there to watch, so to speak.
>Yoda: That said, the CG was taking quite some time too so it didn't finish until the very last minute, you see (laughs). I was monitoring the progress, so I could tell whether they'd "reached that stage" or "we're not there yet", but I imagine those waiting must have felt anxious.
>Shimizu: Well, yes, I must admit I was feeling rather nervous about that particular aspect. We were also running behind schedule, so I was sweating bullets, but I could feel you running alongside me in that regard (laugh).
>Yoda: Emails were flying back and forth, weren't they? "Ah, you're still working, aren't you?" (laughs).
>When we asked director Okawa, "What kind of step do you think this is in the idol anime scene?", he replied "Well, perhaps going forward, collaborations like this with other works might be possible too. The fact that we have established this precedent may well be significant." What are your thoughts as producers?
