It won't it's not about pacing it's about money, if one piece is truly nearing it's end Shueisha is gonna drag it out as long as possible because out side of One Piece they don't have anything else to sell, Dragonball's in legal problems, Demon Slayer is selling well but they don't wanna lose to a woman author, nobody gives a shit about HunterXHunter anymore, Togashii's pride ruined it for alot of people and the 2011's ending was enough for whatever new fans they could have gotten to stick around. Bleach, Gintama and Naruto's attempts at revivals were failures, Thousand Year Blood War ran into productivity issues starting at the 2nd season and still haven't recovered, those 4 Naruto anniversary episodes will never see the light of day for some reason, Boruto was disowned by Kishimoto months ago and while Gintama is getting a new movie, the reception of Ginpachi sensei shows not only how much the cast has aged but how the humor has really run dry, the worst thing in comedy is when the punchlines and jokes aren't so much as that but knowing the characters so well now that their actions and reactions have been normalized, their insanity has now become sane, it being a school setting also means they can't do action sequences and let Ginpachi be a badass because he's supposed to just be a teacher and an entierly different character from Gintoki.
The only other thing is SpyXFamily and well, we know where the author's head is on that series. One Piece is literally all they've got now they're dead without it.
