What do you expect from an author who has no clue how RPGs work.
He and his higher ranked allies have to constantly use super special super rare items to get by when the level difference should allow him to rofl stomp on his enemies.
Oh no look the level 3000 guy has an item that gives him a 1000 level boost , better send my level 9999 minion with second highest equipment after him.
Oh no the level level 7000 guy is crushing my level 9999 minions who are completely equipped with gear of the same rarity as the level 7000 guy.
Better use cheat items and sacrifice my arm to beat him.
The author has no freaking clue how level scaling works in any type of RPG and he needs to constantly remind everyone of it.
He writes RPG mechanics as if someone told him about it that never played an RPG themselves who also only got told how it might work by someone that never played an RPG.
