Depends on the exact setting, but technically they'd be a half-fiend since half-fiends and tieflings are distinct from one another, though both share fiendish ancestry. Though I know that Wizards has decided to change the rules for what a tiefling is like, 3 times since 3.5 and each time they do it they make it more convoluted and stupid than just saying "Mortal x Fiend = Half fiend, Half fiend x mortal = Tiefling, occasionally people with fiendish blood in their lineage can pop out as tieflings even if both parents show no outward signs."
Also, as an aside, if we're going strictly by D&D, a half human-half imp would be a half devil
