I never quite understood it. I mean, if you have to try to WALK to a grocery store in America, or even bike, you will die hungry. You need a car to live in this country at all.
I can do 10 miles easy on my bike and still don't know if it's even possible to get to my local grocery store, and that's in a nice neighborhood.
