No they're not. There's certain things they can be selfish about like sex, but in general I think men are self sacrificial and outward focused by nature. It's why settings like Warhammer 40k, and Helldivers are so popular. Men fantasize about commiting themselves to greater causes and sacrificing for something higher than ourselves. The same thing applies to marriage and family. I know tons of men that fantasize about having a family and when they do it's not "lmao I get to pound free pussy every night." It's "I want to come home and be able to hug my wife and raise my kids and have my life mean something because I've taken on the role of being a father." And when they talk about being a father it's about sacrifice and responsibility. The men that don't have families right now are still doing things like labouring for games they love, or hobbies they love, or work they love. In general men value the things they're committed to way more than personal profit which is why so many men "waste time" doing unpaid labour for the things they love.
Women on the other hand with the exception of like one work client I have, are basically always inward focused. Even when they're thinking of others it's in reflection to themselves. They think about being polite because they don't want to be seen as being unpolite. They think about social issues because they want to be seen championing those issues. They take up hobbies like putting on accessories. It's always, always, always self focused. Whenever I hear women fantasize it's about other people sacrificing for them, and them doing things like traveling, possessing things, etc.
I genuinely think it takes the pain and experience of motherhood to make a woman care about anyone but themselves.
