i'm telling you i was/am in an EXTREMELY similar situation, and you still need to let go. letting go doesn't mean losing touch with her, or pushing her out of your life but rather it means accepting that there's no guarantees about what happens between you two. she communicated that she needs space, surely your connection is worth honoring her stated needs?
