In theory, yes, in practice the social judgment on men who violate religious codes of honor/chastity is a LOT more relaxed. There is usually still a "boys will be boys" attitude in practice when it comes to guys having sex or "wrong" girlfriends before marriage. Whereas women are expected to uphold the whole dignity of the people/religious tribe and a woman allowing herself to be "defiled" is seen as horrible.
