Different anon weighing in on this, while people posturing politically will I think always be more common than them being really intrinsically motivated and well-informed, I can personally confirm right-wing women that are legitimately proud to be "tough as nails" politically exist.
If anything I feel the issue is a lot of men kind of want 50/50, because they DO want a woman who is nurturing- sensitive, kind, empathetic... And those are typically qualities that at least make women gravitate towards the political left, wanting to protect the powerless and all, idealistic. Right-wing women tend to be more business-like in their whole demeanor, interests, look.
