Not at all as a concept, especially if you don't know one another it's just courteous. For me and I think most women that feel this way, the issue is more when it's not whenever it feels natural/the opportunity arises (you walk in front of her and she happens to be busy with her purse or whatever) but more when it's clear the guy feels his role is to always do this. Then it becomes less general politeness and more a specific interpretation of how to treat women - all the more if you would never think to hold the door open for any man, regardless of the situation.
