I spent about a year working remotely as a risk analyst for a private company where I looked up articles about bad shit going on in the world and sent it to the C-suite staff in alert texts and emails when they were traveling. Like "don't go on business travel to this part of the world, there's been an abundance of floods and weather related vehicle accidents."

But the job title was "Protective Intelligence Analyst" so when I'm applying outside of that field employers look at my resume and get freaked out because they think I'm a dangerous spy or assassin who was doing some James Bond shit.

Should I just change the job title to something that uses more neutral and safe language and doesn't sound so fucking weird?
