I suspected this. Autistic girls can have a weird internal relationship with sexuality. Particularly if she was raised religious and she's a "I love rules and structure" type autist. The cultural conversation around sex, sexuality, arousal, romance, and love is very ambiguous. Both due to squeamishness but also a lot of imprecise language. It's hard to describe objectively and quantitatively. Which can be a real challenge for autists trying to make sense of their own experience and mapping it to the experiences of others.
Then there could be sensory issues around the whole experience, which is a whole other can of worms.
Disclaimer: I could be biased and projecting as a STEM autist femanon who has had issues with sexuality.
