Brain of 18 yo's isnt developed yet plus we arent only talking about the age gap, maturity is important too. 13yo and 17yo cant date even though its only 4 years, the maturity lvl is different so is between 18 and 40. As OP said She graduates high school next. OP is a adult with fully developed brain, he know what he is doing, he probably had his first time, wife (not sure), have job. Meanwhile a 18 just became a adult this year and know nothing about life unlike OP, she doesnt know what she is doing. She though she found a love of her life but its another creep that goes after freshly 18 yo girls and will probably broke her heart (not talking about getting her pregnant because this is fucked up)
