Hey, that's crazy, that's pretty close to my horrible car accident with some different details. I didn't hit anyone, it was just raining and I hydroplaned. I had no experience with what to do so of course I slammed my foot on the brake and jerked the steering wheel. I started spinning out, then I hit a ditch and I started flipping, I took out a telephone pole with my flank and thats what finally stopped the flipping. I don't really remember anymore if there was something in between or not, I just remember the flipping and shaking and the car getting tighter and tighter on all sides afraid I'd be crushed then opening my eyes and realizing I was upside down. I gave one scream of anger and frustration and fear because I could smell something burning. I just didn't know where. I didn't know how to get out. But this was in 2020 and my car was a 2014, I realized I could still just barely use the phone pad on the dashboard. It was hard to reach and the smoke had that electrical smell so I was afraid it might hlow up but hey what other choice did I have? I used my one call to call 911 instead of any friends or family. Unfortunately that was the wrong call. 9-1-1 dispatch told me "uh-huh yeah well you see kid but you are actually right on the little county line between X and Y so you shouldn't have been routed to me good luck" and she just hung up. That was probably one of the scariest moments because I realized that I was out on a country road nobody really knew where I was, nobody was expecting me anywhere and I didn't know if anyone in any nearby houses did or even could have heard me. Luckily for me, soon there were people running up the car asking if I was alive and if I was okay. They did not expect alive either.
Do you have a hard time driving as a result of your accident?
