/b/ro... /b/ro... /b/ro... I'm so sorry to hear that.
So the sad fact of life is that you can't buy love, you can't perform just any feats to impress someone into loving you, even if they are impressive.
What's fucking you is your lack of social skill. It is your Achilles' heel. Unfortunately you picked the absolutely worst attribute to neglect. Career success is 80% networking, and "networking" is basically nepotism minus the high-profile. If you know someone and they vouch for you? They'll take you through the back door and land you the job with little to no fuss. If you don't know anybody? You just don't meet anyone? Well then you have to submit your CV to the iron curtain that is the application process which gets filtered by AI and the results are barely glanced at because the HR representatives would rather give their buddy, their niece, their cousin... whoever the job first than you, the faceless stranger.
It is so important.
It is literally 80% of career success. Who you know.
And not just about knowing them, about them liking you and loving you so much that they are eager to help you out.
20% is about what you can actually do and there are some high paid executives who can actually do quite fucking little but they dress nice, they wine & dine nice, and they're the big boss' favorite god son.
At any rate, if I can learn social skill post-/b/ anyone can. Plenty of resources on youtube.
