That's a fair question.
So many things can fit the bill:
1. Becoming an awesome dirt biker
2. Super skilled artist
3. Hyper talented musician
4. Really good sleight of hand magic tricks
5. Perform really well in MMA or boxing matches
6. Sports car collector
7. Have a yacht
8. The owner of a reasonably successful business
9. Some sort of position of authority:
- cop
- camp counselor
- principal
- firefighter
- etc.
It can be so many things. It can cost a lot of money or it can be relatively cheap. It's best described as an "obvious measure of success." Emphasis on the "obvious" bit. Like if you created your very own OS from scratch? And it works? That is super fucking impressive even if it looks it was slapped together with duct tape and a prayer. Guess what? Most people aren't going to find that "obvious." They're going to wonder why you didn't just install Windows or get a Mac. The fact you'll have to stop and defend yourself to justify your homebrew OS is the big hint that it didn't land like you'd hope it did.
You need a thing that is *obvious.* A thing that is cool. A thing that someone can see you do, either physically or when they picture it in their heads they go, "Aww, shit man, wtf, how does he do that? How did he get to that point in life?"
