I have a strange hobby. I like to forage for wild plants and edible mushrooms. I'm always checking and trying to Id new plants to see what they are, what they are called, and how they can be used. I've identified a good number of plants that grow locally and regularly harvest them when they are in season. Most people either think my interest in local flora is weird, or just don't care. I really want to find a local group of foragers, but I think I might be the only person in my state who does it.
