That's neat. I live in an area where honey ring mushrooms pop up pretty regularly. They grow in giant clusters but they rot pretty quickly. I cooked some up, but I wasn't impressed with their flavor. Not sure if it was just bad luck with the cluster I found or if that's just what honey ring's taste like.
I also had Giant Puffballs show up on my property once several years ago. And I mean the size of like basketballs. Those tasted good.
