Man I'd sign up for star fleet just for this function alone. Computer enact everyone on board has become a zombie mode. I think that might be too easy start out as a mechanic. I probably get some kind of tool or blunt object early on. Or one of those tng kilt kind of things I would think my priority is to make it to a replibcator, for a tool or something to bonk people with like a big ass monkey wrench. Then I gotta make it to some kinda computer type panel that has teleportation access. I like to th ink the zombies are going to gather up and rush for the dilythium crystal core so sometimes you gotta go back and bonk down a hoard if you can't teleport them into space until you figure out it's a curable disease and I should have fought my way up to sick deck and they inform me about it but maybe them being cyogenically frozen in space works so I'm gonna go to the replicator for a better bonking device first.
