I love this mindset.
The only people who I've ever seen suggest that we should use nukes in the 21st century are Republicans. Even among my own friends, the only ones who've suggested that we should just glass an area with a nuclear weapon because of a diplomatic rough patch have been Republicans.
If it's true, what you say; "Something like a nuke would only ever be used be an extremist market of a country like Iran." then an astounding number of Republicans see our country as an extremist manlet country which just swings it's dick around.
