The visit to my primary care physician:

She first didn’t think that taking any anti viral medication would help
Then she found something about it in a book and gave my a prescription for it and told me that if I want prep for hiv I need to go to the std ambulance

The visit in the std/hiv clinic in the hospital:

I told her about the herpes drugs
She told me that if I’m 29 and fucked around I definitely have herpes and I shouldn’t worry because most likely I already have it and won’t get the genital kind

I asked if I could still take the medicine and she was like sure it won’t hurt but it’s completely irrelevant

Than she asked me if I had sex with a man or a women

I said women

She alder if I knew anything about her

I said no at first because I was already uncomfortable

She said so no prep for you because the risk isn’t worth it you won’t get hiv

I asked if I could get it anyway

She was like yeah for 1000€

So I asked if I said it was a man could I get it and she was like yeah but it makes no sense

So I told her it was a hooker

She was like: oh so you do know things about her

And told me that in Austria it’s more likely to get infected from a random hookup than a hooker since they are tested

So I told her it was a Hungarian non tested hooker

She was like: okay well than she could write me a stript but it’s still unnecessary and a unnecessary risk and she said “if you have side affects I’m more than comfortable discontinuing the treatment” because it’s basically only for my mental wellbeing anyway

But she wrote me a referral to a Hep B and C consult

And they also took a blood test for hiv
