I quite like hotel saunas all over Europe as you get a mix. It’s kinda funny to watch the faces of the Brits or Americans when people used to the local custom come in. Only a few I’ve been to have actually got the local enforced nudity rule, which most shy away from due to their international clientele. The few I have seen that do it properly, I’ve watched tourists decide on whether or not to go through with it once they know.

I just can’t imagine using a sauna with clothes on, the same way I can’t imagine showering nude.

In days gone by, even pools were mandated to be nude due to hygiene reasons. I think we should bring that back or at least make it an option.
