This is why I say it's the most extreme.

Years ago I came up with a plot for some romance story about some woman moving abroad but the hyper interconnected internet basically destroyed the entire plot idea for it so I'd maybe only be able to get the setting to work up till digi/phonecams and sharing every minutiae of your lives with complete strangers became a thing at the very latest mid 2000s.
Generally though I think incest is going to be ugly maladgusted impulsive people which really starts to wear the appeal a bit thin.

You still probably could do it but you'd need like zero net presence.
