You have to look at their actions, and as much as I don't like Zuckyboig, he is at least willing to protect end to end encryption. He is not to be trusted either, but he's got some ethics. He's not a complete bastard.

So what I want to know is - why are these porn sites so visibly against age verification when you see their US and French sites, bbut really eagerly pushing it on the UK side as a 'seamless experience!'. I mean they are dodgy and that's precisely why the OSA is so bad as it gives them a fucking free pass to use whatever ID scanning service they like with no regs. THEY WANT THIS.

I think the duplicity is because they are pandering to local sensibilities.
