Wife cheated on me. We'd been married for almost a decade, it was with someone she worked with. Figured out something was wrong, figured out her email log in, got all the proof I needed.
She was 8 months pregnant, I stayed with her and worked things out.
She continued to be dishonest about the extent of the affair, gave me the info in drips, mishandled a lot of the aftermath.
To be honest, she's a really awesome woman, the affair was very out of character. We have 4 great kids that know nothing about it. I did DNA to make sure they were all mine.
The problem is, even though she's smart, beautiful, loves me, and would do anything for me, she can't un-do this. And I will never believe her about anything related to it and never trust her.
That kid she was pregnant with is 22. Still don't have trust. Part of me wishes I'd walked out and never looked back. But, if I can't trust her I don't think I'd be able to trust anyone else either.
