It's not about the weapon ban as much as it's about Emily getting the info by checking discord in the bathroom and then being evasive about how she got the info for like 20 minutes before fessing up. And not just that, she talked to tech guy so he made a little "scroll" saying the weapon was banned thinking it would be some cutesy thing. So then Agent lashed out at that guy not knowing it was Emily behind it all yet. Basically she acted like a snake because she thought it would be "good content" when he's already on edge from the marathon
