Christianity started gaining popularity first with the Roman marshall class and spread from there. If Christianity was passive the 4th century AD would have seen a lot more paganism but no it was Christian goths, Christian Romans, Christian Germans, paganism was out the door everywhere. Christianity started in the marshall order and spread out from there so your theory holds no real weight when you look at actual history that says you're just fucking wrong and gay.
