i don't think using Ebonics (what they used to call it before AAVE) should be allowed in education or anything like that, but it is a real dialect with consistent grammatical features distinct from standard American English
some of those features derive from various West African languages
we can recognize it as a legitimate linguistic phenomenon while not endorsing its use in public life
