Kids start reading before they know every word, though. They learn new words by hearing them and working them out from context, or by looking them up.
This isn't even really an analogy. It's how adults learn new words, too. Just give people an actual critique instead of "It's slop lol" and people will look up any words or concepts they don't know. And, like, you and I both know that the critique isn't going to be something like "Your gen is bad because of [complicated linear algebra math]", it's gonna be something like "Oh, your CFG value is too high and so it's making your gens come out deep fried" or "you have to use a VAE compatible with your model or shit's going to look weird" or "The term 'red hair' is going to make the color red bleed over into other parts of your prompt, so try something like 'ginger', which is a lot more likely to be interpreted as a hair color".
